PATRIZIA CEZZA

Born in the very heart of Milan she still lives in, Patrizia Cezza grew up in a stimulating environment which helped develop that curiosity for the world and people who have distinguished her since childhood.

Pursuing her passion for laboratory trials, she attained a technical training that initially saw her graduating in Industrial Chemistry and later, after some time spent looking for the right opportunity, joining the Italian plant of Florasynth – a small, yet prestigious American multinational corporation in the flavor and fragrance industry – where Patrizia started to work in the analysis laboratory. There, for the first time, she came across flavors and fragrances which every day passed through her hands in order to be examined.

Hence, she fell in love with perfumes at first sight, a love that never deserted her and that keeps on feeding continuously. The ability to observe and the desire to discover the laws of nature were her starting point. Over time, Patrizia has leveraged her sensitivity, supported by a strong memory and a great deal of willpower that have enabled her to transform into artistic creations the competence she owns.

“Knowing how to translate into successful fragrances every dream fostering beauty” is the ambition Patrizia has always cultivated. And it is at Moellhausen that she found the optimal environment for realizing what she yearns more than anything else.

In various years of activity, Patrizia has progressed alongside the Company by taking on the challenges, risks, changes and difficulties with the enthusiasm of those who have no doubts about being in the right place at the right time.

For her, engaged all along in the R&D laboratory she contributed to grow, gas chromatography has no secrets and Patrizia reads the analyses as if they were the pages of a book. It is with such spirit of researcher and a very large amount of knowledge enhanced throughout, that she conceives fragrances.

According to Patrizia – also enriched by the capabilities gained during the many years of collaboration with numerous professionals and brands in the Middle East, where perfume is experienced as an essential good – “the fragrance is like a jewel, a designer dress, a branded bag… It is that thing which makes you feel better, gives you confidence, makes you feel special.”
